So this Thursday was a big day for me, it was my final results day. I have been studying a degree in biomedical science, sweating it out in a white lab coat, squinting through scratched up goggles and generally learning about unpleasant squishy illnesses. Despite all this grossness I did enjoy my three years at university, this did mean putting my creative urges to the side for a while and geeking it out though. I woke up ridiculously early to find out I passed all my exams, I have to admit I was a little disappointed with my final grades as I had worked my little pop socks off, but I am proud to say I am now a fully qualified biomedical scientist (with a great passion for photography). In both celebration and in efforts to cheer me up my adorable mother picked out some sunflowers for me.

I love to take little snaps when I'm on the go, and instagram allows me to do this quick and easily. I know some people say it's amateur photography but who cares? It's fun and if your clever enough you can actually create some amazing photo's. I love looking back through my pictures on the app, its really quite fun, a quick fix of creativity.

My mother has a room of her own purely for her art, all sorts of materials and cute objects. It really is a gorgeous place to just go and sit when you need some peace and quiet. When the sun is just going down the lighting is very soft and warm in there, perfect for playing around with my camera.
